Whether you're expecting or just had your baby, congratulations!! What a magical time in your life as you begin a new chapter with your little one. It's very exciting, overwhelming and emotional but also a fleeting time, as newborns are tiny for only a short while.
As a mum of three myself, I know how precious these first weeks are when they are so fresh, pure and new, truly special to capture! I would love to bottle up these moments with timeless imagery you’ll love and cherish for a lifetime.
NEWBORN SESSIONS
Newborn sessions are usually taken in my comfortable home studio located in Lugarno, during weekdays. I do offer home studio sessions, although this is dependant on the amount of natural lighting in your home.
Images taken in my studio are both posed and candid where I use both natural and studio lighting, Whilst sessions in your home have a more lifestyle feel using natural light only.
The best time to take newborn photos is between 5-14 days from birth as they are still very sleepy, all curled up, and a magical time to capture. Please schedule your newborn session at least two months in advance of your due date to avoid disappointment. If you do miss this window, don't worry - you can still capture beautiful capture memories of your baby soon after this time.
Newborn sessions are held in the mornings as newborns sleep better and are more settled than in the afternoons. Of course, parents and siblings are most welcomed to be included in the session.
SESSION FEE

The session fee includes planning, setup and my time on the day which is approximately 3 hour photo shoot.

Each image is edited with care and attention to detail and uploaded to your private gallery for viewing, selection and download.

The session includes access to beautiful props, quality sourced bonnets, blankets and wraps.

Access to a my small range of gorgeous maternity dresses available for mum to wear (optional).
$150 (In my studio weekdays only).

THE STUDIO
Welcome to my home studio located in Lugarno, Sydney. It’s a comfortable, warm and inviting space, where all your beautiful moments are captured! It's maybe one of the first places you'll take your precious baby!
There are large windows where I photograph in both natural and studio lighting. Everything is set up for newborn sessions from beautifully knitted blankets, wraps and outfits for baby, props and latest equipment, cosy seating and powder room for mums and a small selection of beautiful maternity garments to wear (optional).
The studio is a calm atmosphere that helps you feel at ease the moment you walk in. I understand mums are sleep deprived at this time so it's important for me to have a space where mums can relax, feed, rest, and just enjoy this special time while I gently capture your memories.
FAQ
When is the best time to book for Newborn photos?
As early as possible! Please schedule your newborn session at least two months in advance of your due date to avoid disappointment. We can schedule a tentative date and will confirm the session time once baby arrives. The best time to take newborn photos is between 6-14 days from birth as they are still very sleepy, all curled up, and a magical time to capture.
Can my husband/partner and siblings be included in the newborn session as well?
Yes, Newborn sessions include immediate family members (unless otherwise stated for specific offers).
What shall I wear for the sessions?
Always wear clothing that is comfortable and you think will work well together with other family members that are being photographed as well. Neutral colours/soft pastel colours works best. For newborn sessions, skin to skin images are beautiful so off the shoulder dress looks look amazing. . Always bring an extra outfit just in case, as baby accidents occur (It happens!).

My little one is unwell, can I reschedule my session?
Yes of course you can reschedule. I will do my best to find another suitable day, as close to the original date as possible.
How long does it take before I get my photos from my session?
It is normally 2 weeks from the date you choose your images from the on-line gallery. I will notify you via email when your gallery is ready for viewing. You have 5 days to view and choose your images before the gallery expires.
SIMPLE BOOKING TO DELIVERY
1. Book your session/plan

Book in session date and pay session fee deposit (non-refundable).

Choose your package (you have the option to upgrade later if you wish), and complete the on-line booking form on the link on email

An invoice with your selected package balance will be sent and standard contact to be signed.

The balance is due 24 hours before your session.
2. The Shoot

As soon as your baby arrives, get in touch to confirm the date/time of your newborn session.

Let me know if you have any preferred setups or maternity outfits you'd like to wear.

Your remaining balance is due one days prior to your session.

3. Private Gallery Viewing and Image Selection

The most exciting part! You'll receive your viewing gallery within 2-3 weeks of your session date.

You'll have 5 days to select your proof images included in your collection or have the option to upgrade.

Once you have selected your favourites, they will be sent to me to complete the final editing of your selected images.
4. Download + Prints/Wall Art

Once the final edits are completed (usual one week), your Final Gallery will be ready for download

Both high-res images and low-res/web-ready images will be available to download.

Additional prints, frames & products can be purchased.

You will be notified once prints and any wall art is ready for pick up.
